 Boxhill 2012

The annual Boxhill ride out took place Sunday 22nd April, well attended as usual even with the threat of looming black clouds. Members met at The Greyhound and ventured off to our breakfast stop at Redhill Aerodrome, pallets refreshed and Boxhill was calling. A nice ride across country taking in a puncture on the way, we arrived early to watch fellow scooterists arrive on their steed's. After photo's and pleasantries were exchanged we headed to Godalming for a visit to the local watering hole whilst the rain came down. A break in the weather saw us head for home after another enjoyable day. See you all again soon KTF

  KickStart 2012

A bright sunny day started off the new season and London was calling. A blow out and dodgy rear hub was the first hurdle to climb but thanks to the team spirit and dedication of the clubs members we were soon on our way to the smog.
A brief meeting with fellow scooterist's at the London Eye and off to Carnaby Street for a spot of lunch, a visit to the obligatory watering hole on the way home refreshed us for the teething breakdowns on the ride back. Thanks to all the members that helped to keep the old machines on the road. (and their scooters)
A great day was had by all, let the season begin!

  Shoreham Dogs Trust Run 2012

A fresh start to the day saw the first ride out of the year for Bullseye, well attended meet at the chalet for a quick cup of tea then onto Brighton to meet up with fellow scooterists. The sun was shining when 100+ set off from the Volks to ride along the seafront to the Dogs Trust based at Shoreham. Racks loaded with bedding/food and toys for the dogs at the base. Good to see so many considerate colleagues on their bikes.
A return to Brighton for an ice cream and the well earned drop in to a local watering hole on the way home. A good day had by all, roll on the next venture !

   Camber 2011:

July had arrived and Camber was calling, the local watering hole was left in a trail of two stroke as the club headed for the coast. After paying our respects to a few country inns we arrived at the gates for the weekend to begin.

The first surprise was the announcement that two of our members were to be wed on the Saturday morning at Hastings registry office! so with scooters decorated with white bows we set off to Hastings to witness a lovely couple tie the knot. Ceremony complete we headed back to Camber dodging the empty cans being dragged by the bride and grooms scooter.
As you can imagine the fun and celebrations continued for the weekend and a good time was had by all.
Roll on Camber 2012.

  Redhill Steam Rally

Bullseye attended the Redhill Steam Rally over the weekend. A good turnout on the Sunday with around 20 scooters present. Plenty of interest shown by visitors to the event with the usual "I use to have one of those, I swapped it for a pram" comment. The weather was pretty good apart from a certain persons tent springing a leak in the middle of the night.
Good weekend had by all.
